Borrowed Time

All of the brands above are either gone or they are on their way out. Brandautopsy.com takes a moment to talk about why these companies are sharing the same fate. The basic premise is that all of these companies failed to lead in some way, i.e innovation, customer service, etc. Any company that fails to lead in some way will be marginalized in less than ideal economic conditions.

I decided to share this because I couldn't see myself missing any of those companies . None of them offered me anything extra that I could get from anywhere else. Most people won't even notice most of the stores that closed in 2008 (150,000)/will close in 2009 (approx 78,000). Sad stuff really.
