Where were you?

I still remember. I was in 10th grade. My mom was driving me to school in the morning and it was all over the radio. They were just announcing that the second tower was hit. It didn't really hit me until I walked inside my school. There wasn't the usual noise of everyone talking. Everyone was inside a classroom looking in the direction of a television. People who had family or friends in the area were crying or frantically trying to call to see if they were okay. I was at an age where I could grasp what was going on, but I knew I couldn't fully understand the situation until I was older. I just knew things would never be the same again.
